Only two kms away from Vigna di Ranco in the village of Paglieta you will find various groceries, the post office, the bank, the druggist’s, the Carabinieri as well as all main services. There is a regular bus service linking our complex to the village. The nearest hospitals are in Atessa and Lanciano, which are located 8 and 15 Kms away, respectively, in opposite directions.
Once you have got to the seaside (10 Kms away) you will find several free unspoiled sand beaches such as Le Morge, Casalbordino, Punta Aderci, Punta Penna (the latter two are natural reserves) or gravel beaches. In summer mountain lovers can go on excursions to the mounts Majella or Gran Sasso with their natural parks; in winter the ski plants in Roccaraso or Passo Lanciano are one hour’s drive away.
